ST. LOUIS, MO - The US Navy (NAVSEA) awarded a Phase 1 contract to OCI to adapt its open source QuickFAST technology for use in US Navy submarine fleet communication systems. OCI was selected from among the many open bid submissions to the Navy Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Program. This initial design phase is for 4-6 months with an option for an additional 6 months to transition into phase 2. After a successful exit and transition from phase 1, phase 2 will commence.
